Traveler’s Rest Gloves- Free Crochet Pattern
Welcome traveler! Your gloves look old and worn, would you like a new pair? Stay warm on the road this winter while keeping your fingers free for setting up camp, using your bow, or whittling new tools. They even have their own puffy pillows to rest your tired hands on after a long day of adventuring. It’s ok if you don’t have enough coin, perhaps you can help me with something around the farm instead. If you’ll stay for dinner, I can teach you how I make them!
Materials
- 4.5mm hook
- Worsted weight yarn (Ex: Red Heart Super Saver, Big Twist, I Love this Yarn)
- Accent yarn. I suggest a worsted weight roving yarn (Ex: Lion Brand Landscapes, Red Heart Unforgettable, Yarn Bee Fireplace Comfort)
Skill Level
Beginner (hdc, sc, ch, sl st) Puff stitch and sc ribbing may be a new skill.
Notes & Tips
- If you want the seam on the palms of both gloves, make 1 glove with the thumb hole chain space at the end of round 7 instead of the beginning.
- Final Measurements: 3.5 inches across, 6.5 inches long. Add rows or add to the starting chain or ribbing as needed to adjust size.
